Here are two first photos, of my "new" old home.
On this blog you will follow my progress,
as I try to renovate a 1930's craftsman bungalow.
I've moved twice since I first sold the farm.
First I tried Das Kleine Haus...a beautiful 1880's folk Victorian.
It was a lovely house, but just didn't fit my lifestyle.
To tell you the truth,
I think I was grieving about the move from the farm.
Even though I loved the farm, it became too much work for me.
Next, I tried living closer to family for a while.
You may remember Meggie's Cottage on the edge of a Forest.
But again, it just didn't feel right. I was feeling very displaced.
This is why I chose to move back to the prairie.
Meggie on the Prairie blog will live on....
I will continue to post on it, showing you, my dear readers,
small glimpses of small town living, on the prairie.
This blog will be devoted to my bungalow.
I thought it deserved a separate blog.
I know this is where I belong.
I am happy...
Meggie Mac
